The Division of Sciences and Arts for Design has a large number of outstanding teachers in different professional and academic areas of design. They gear their efforts to bring knowledge closer to our students in the different academic spaces. For the most part, they are teacher-researchers, and this characteristic impacts their teaching since they bring advances in research to the classrooms.
We hold a great number of academic events regarding architectural design, industrial design, and graphic communication design. You will be able to attend these events for free, and this will allow you to broaden your knowledge of a wide range of topics.

UAM Calendar
Remember that the UAM offers three quarterly periods a year, which can be different from other institutions. Each period lasts at least 12 weeks. Our activities are organized by week, so it is important that you get to know them in order to plan your activities during your academic exchange and avoid problems.

Requirements
- Must be enrolled in an institution at the time of the application
- Have minimum grade average of 8.0
- Have completed at least 50% of the credits
- Register online (your university must postulate you and after that you must finish the process)
- Obtain a favorable evaluation by the academic unit concerned of the UAM
Notice: The online registration will remain open during the previously established dates and must be complete in order for the UAM to process the application.
Where is the UAM Azcapotzalco?
The Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana, Azcapotzalco campus is located in the northern part of Mexico City. Due to its original objective it is set in a mainly industrial zone, in the Azcapotzalco municipality, a region characterized by popular traditions. Teaching-learning unit, synonym of courses or subjects, they are the basic element of the curricula.
