During more than 45 years of existence of the Universidad Autónoma Metropolitana its Division of Sciences and Arts for Design (CyAD) has been characterized by the instruction of highly creative and socially committed architects, graphic communication designers and industrial designers. CyAD can be described as creative, conceptual, free, flexible, committed and responsible.
The autonomy of the University, its pedagogical model, its relationship with society and the figure of teacher-researcher –unique in Mexico– make CyAD one of the most relevant higher-education institutions in the country and in Latin America with a wide network of international collaborations. CyAD stands out by having great experience in the development of research activities and the results of this research enrich learning in the classrooms.
CyAD is a plural space in constant motion, continuously striving to be better. The students are the raison d'être of our Division. The administrative staff, the faculty and the authorities make a great effort to offer you the best experience in our institution.
